The skidplate fits forward and rear facing transmissions, and allows for 4mm side to side movement when mounting the transmission. A shortened front end allows for better approach angles, while still extending past the centerline of the axle even with gladiator\/c10 front links.\u003c\/p\u003e \n\n\u003cp\u003eShort wheelbase chassis (SWB) is best for C10, GX470, and deadbolt conversions.\u003c\/p\u003e \n\n\u003cp\u003eLong wheelbase chassis (LWB) is best for gladiator and power wagon conversions, or other link setups such as dead\/85 and dead\/90.\u003c\/p\u003e \n\n\u003cp\u003eIt is possible to use all SCX24 stock parts on this chassis, but you will be slightly limited in which link mounts you can use on the chassis.
